Oregon General Election: Tuesday, November 3, 2026
Every election is a chance for our community to be heard. LULAC Oregon is here to make sure you have what you need to register, get your ballot, and make your vote count.
Key Dates
October 13, 2026: Voter Registration Deadline
Register online by 11:59 p.m., or mail a paper registration card postmarked by October 13. If you're mailing close to the deadline, ask the post office counter to hand-stamp the postmark.
October 14, 2026: Ballots Mailed
Oregon votes by mail. If you're registered, your ballot comes to you automatically. Look for it in your mailbox starting mid-October.
November 3, 2026: Election Day
This is the last day to return your ballot. County elections offices are open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Your ballot must be in an official drop box by 8 p.m., or postmarked by Election Day.
December 10, 2026: Results Certified
Official results are certified after every valid ballot is counted.
Three Ways to Return Your Ballot
Official Drop Box
Drop your ballot at any official drop box in Oregon by 8 p.m. on Election Day. No postage needed. Find a location near you at oregonvotes.gov.
Vote by Mail
Return postage is free. Your ballot must be postmarked on or before November 3 and arrive within seven days of Election Day. To be safe, mail it at least a week early.
Vote in Person
Need a replacement ballot, help in another language, or accessible voting equipment? Visit your county elections office. Check with your county for locations and hours.
